The aim of EcoSwell’s volunteer internship program (online and in-person) is to drive the creation and implementation of our sustainability projects, whilst transforming our volunteer interns into agents of change.
All of our projects seek to propel the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in vulnerable communities. Through these economic, environmental and social initiatives we are improving people's lives and helping restore degraded natural ecosystems. The financial contribution our volunteer interns make as part of this program enables us to finance, develop and implement these projects.

We welcome those who:
Wish to carryout university research projects (dissertations, thesis’ and final year projects);
Wish to learn and support us by working on our existing projects; or
Wish to learn how an NGO and social enterprise operates by supporting us with our daily activities
The ethics behind our volunteer internship program is on par with our relentless drive to boost sustainability. “We spent 2 weeks collecting data and a few days in Lima meeting EcoSwell collaborators at the PUCP University of Peru and the Peruvian Institute of Studies. The experience was fantastic, we felt like part of the team and enjoyed getting to know Lobitos and its inhabitants. EcoSwell set up interviews for us and accompanied us to help with translation, showed us around and made us feel welcome. Lobitos is an incredible place, and the EcoSwell team are extremely well placed to help the town to develop in a sustainable way which will preserve its security and tranquillity whilst improving livelihood opportunities and infrastructure provision in harmony with the environment, which is definitely needed."
